Specification of Portalbe House / Caravan

Base:
The base of the unit is manufactured from steel 1 beams (120 x 64 mm) joined together by welding and it is supported on steel legs, On each 50 cm distance 3" x 4" hardwood is used across for further re-enforcement for the platform.

Floor:
The floor of the unit is made out of 18 mm Korindo plywood. The top finish is PVC tiles (30 cm x 30 cm) or standard carpet, Inside the toilet PVC sheets are used and the joints are fixed by PVC welding.

Walls:
The walls are manufactured as structural sandwich type panels and all electrical works are concealed. The frame of the panel is done by 6 cm M.S. Angle and 2" x 2" timber, The frame is covered by 6mm Korindo plywood from outside and inside the walls. The ceiling is also insulated by 25mm polystyrene, The walls of kitchen and toilet (complete water proof) (water proof Hardboard or by Alum. Faced plywood).

Roof:
The roof is made by wooden trusses. Top of the roof is corrugated sheets fixed on 2" x 2" wood supported on the trusses, The ceiling is by 4 mm plywood painted with white plastic emulsion.

Doors & Windows:
Doors are semi solid pressed, polished and fitted with good quality locks (European make), Windows are aluminum sliding with fly screen silver or bronze colored, 90 x 90 cm size with glass.
